Renting or Buying Spa Equipment - The Pros and Cons

There are both pros and cons when it comes to renting or buying your spa equipment. So, before you make a decision either way, you should consider the following issues.

Buying spa equipment will obviously cost you more money upfront, but you will own the equipment outright. However, if your spa doesn’t succeed you will be stuck with all that new equipment and will probably lose money when you have to resell it. The other downside is that you might find that you don’t really need a piece of equipment like you thought you would and if you own it you will be stuck with it.

Renting spa equipment will not require as much money upfront, but you will probably end up spending more money over the long run with your monthly payments. However, rented equipment will most like come with a service agreement which will save you a lot of time, money, and trouble when the equipment breaks. Over the long term you will potentially make less profit overall because you will continuously have to make those rental payments. So, your best bet might be to lease your equipment, try it out, and eventually purchase it.
