Online Tutor/Student Advisor (ACCEPTING RESUMES FOR SEPT 08 EMPLOYMENT)

ISM is seeking a progressive professional to fill the position(s) of Online Tutor/Student Advisor. Successful candidate will join our team of student advisors and work online via the ISM Online Learning Center.

Responsibilities:

• Provide students with assistance and advice on all aspects of study
• Respond to student questions in a timely manner
• Mark student course exams and written assignments (students are required to successfully complete an online exam and written assignment for each module in the program)
• Work in a success oriented, highly communicative and collaborative environment with students and faculty

Desired Qualifications:

• College or university degree (hotel or business management). Extensive spa management or ownership experience will be considered in lieu of education - past graduates of ISM encouraged to apply
• A strong desire to work with students to achieve success in their chosen program
• Experience working in the health, wellness or spa industry
• Late model computer with a reliable, high speed internet connection
  

Student Liaison (POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED)

ISM is seeking an experienced online customer service oriented professional to fill the position of Online Student Liaison.

Responsibilities:

• Assist new students with the enrolment process, ensuring they have access to the ISM Online Learning Center
• Respond to all student emails and online enquiries in a highly time sensitive manner
• Deliver student exam and written assignment grades
• Work in partnership with other staff to facility a positive learning experience for all students

Desired Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a customer service professional in an online environment required - past graduates of ISM encouraged to apply
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, email and content management systems
• A strong desire to work with students to achieve success in their chosen program
• Experience working in the health, wellness or spa industry considered a strong asset
• Late model computer with a reliable, high speed internet connection
